Privacy Policy

Information you provide. When you fill out an estimate, contact, or booking form, configure an order, or schedule a virtual consultation, we collect what you submit — typically name, email, phone number, install address, ZIP code, project details (fence type, height, linear feet, gates), and any notes you add.

Payment information. Deposits are processed by Stripe. Card numbers are entered directly on Stripe-hosted pages and are not stored on our servers. We receive a transaction ID, amount, and the masked metadata Stripe returns.

Photos. If you send us photos of your property, we use them to plan and quote your install. With your permission, we may use selected photos in our gallery or marketing.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site we automatically receive standard log data (IP address, device and browser type, referring URL, pages viewed, timestamps) and interaction data used to measure performance and improve the Site.

We use a small number of cookies and similar browser-storage technologies:

• Strictly necessary — keep the Site running, remember in-progress quote drafts, and secure form submissions.
• Analytics & performance — measure aggregate traffic, page performance, and conversion events so we can improve the Site. We may use providers such as a privacy-respecting analytics tool and web-vitals reporting. These do not identify you personally.
• Third-party widgets — Stripe (for checkout) and our scheduling widget set their own cookies necessary to function. Their use of cookies is governed by their own privacy notices.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the Site (checkout, scheduling, draft resume).

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to inquiries and prepare estimates;
• Schedule and deliver virtual consultations and installations;
• Process deposits and final payments;
• Send transactional messages (deposit receipts, scheduling confirmations, install reminders, follow-ups);
• Operate, secure, and improve the Site and our services;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing.

We share information only with:

• Service providers we use to run the business — for example our hosting and database backend, email delivery, SMS, scheduling widget, Stripe (payments), and analytics. These providers may only use the information to perform services for us.
• Install crews and subcontractors assigned to your project, limited to what they need to complete the work.
• Authorities or successors if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We keep information for as long as needed to deliver our services, honor warranties, comply with tax and legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Inquiry and draft data we don't act on is generally purged or anonymized within a reasonable period. You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see Section 7.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encryption in transit, access controls, and payment processing through PCI-DSS-compliant providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you;
• Receive a copy of that information in a portable format;
• Correct inaccurate information;
• Request deletion of your information;
• Opt out of marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link in any message, or visit /unsubscribe);
• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — we do not sell or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising;
• Appeal a denied request, where applicable.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@modernfenceinstall.com. We will verify your identity (typically by confirming details of your prior interaction with us) before acting on the request, and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

You may also authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf; we may require written proof of authorization.

We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, which lack a consistent industry standard. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control) as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information.

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Modern Fence Install operates in the United States, and any information you provide is processed and stored in the U.S. by us and our service providers. Data-protection laws in the U.S. may differ from those in your country.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site or communicated by email where appropriate.
