How tall does a deer fence need to be in Great Barrington?

7.5 to 8 feet — high enough that New England whitetails don't even attempt the jump. We confirm exact height during the consultation based on local pressure and any sloped terrain.

Will the fence damage my stone walls or mature trees?

No. We route around stone walls and protect root zones on mature ornamentals. Light selective clearing only — no compaction, no clear-cutting.

Can the fence pass conservation commission review in Great Barrington?

In our experience, yes. Our low-impact install profile and routing flexibility make us a regular on properties with wetlands setbacks across New England.

How does it hold up in Great Barrington winters?

Galvanized hardware throughout, posts set to local frost depth, mesh tensioned for snow loading. Designed for 30+ New England winters without sag or failure.
